Forget

Repent
These silent halls
No longer hold
What you came to find
Decay now reigns
A loss supreme
     But a death that won't be mourned

Life
Love
Warmth
Embraces
These things
Have come and gone
Why waste the time
Moping and crying
The sparks are gone
     The flame burned out

Plight
Pain
Betrayal
Strain
The life you leave behind
Now matters not
Though it's hard to move on
It's now the past
The scars will heal
      In due time

The past finally left behind
The empty shell
Of a shattered romance
Is all that remains

wow this is mt favorite piece you've ever composed. I probably enjoy it so much because i can parallel the same feelings and emotions behind the poem as well, and i bet others that have loved and lost can as well too. It's sad but reassuring. Great work babe. :)
